Overview

FeedbackLoop reviews a URL or a code snippet and returns severity-rated findings across security, performance, accessibility, UX, and engineering best practices. It is a fast way to surface obvious issues before a PR review or production release.

The Problem

Catching problems early usually means running several separate audit tools, waiting for a colleague to catch something in review, or missing issues entirely until a user reports them. Each of those paths has a cost. FeedbackLoop compresses pre-review checking into a single paste-and-go step.

Approach

Paste a URL or drop in a code snippet. The Groq-powered analysis returns findings organized by category — security, performance, accessibility, UX, best practices — each with a severity rating and a concrete recommendation rather than a vague warning.

The tool is intentionally fast. It is designed for pre-review checks and quick iteration, not deep audits. Getting a result in a few seconds is part of the design contract.

Technical Decisions

Built with Next.js 14, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Groq AI. The prompt engineering enforces structured output: categories and severity levels are part of the response format, so the frontend can parse and render findings predictably without post-processing.
