ClarityAI
An AI-powered advice platform focused on thoughtful, personalized support for everyday challenges. It aims to make everyday guidance feel more calm, useful, and personal.
Overview
ClarityAI is an AI advice platform built around the idea that everyday guidance should feel considered and specific rather than generic. It focuses on the kinds of questions people actually think through — decisions, habits, interpersonal situations — where a canned response falls flat.
The Problem
Most AI assistants give the same answer regardless of who is asking or what they have described. Advice that doesn't account for context often isn't useful. ClarityAI explores what it looks like when an AI system actually reads what you wrote before responding.
Approach
The prompting architecture focuses on acknowledgment before advice — the model is prompted to reflect the specifics of what the user described before offering any perspective. The goal is responses that feel like a thoughtful reply to the actual situation rather than a search result for the topic category.
Technical Decisions
Built with JavaScript as a lightweight proof of concept. The focus was on prompt design and response quality rather than feature breadth.
Outcomes
- Open-source at m-abdullah-06/ClarityAI
- An early exploration of conversational AI design that informed the AI Communicator feature in SoloDesk
